McFarland opens Wonderful Fitness Court Saturday - News Article Locations on Waymarking.com

"The Wonderful Fitness Court will be opened to the public Saturday at Sherwood Park in McFarland.

Everyone is invited to the launch party of the state-of-the-art outdoor gym which begins at 10 a.m. and ends at noon.

The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, "Fittest in McFarland" fitness competition, training exercises with the equipment and more fun community activity.

With the goal to make fitness free for everyone McFarland partnered with the national Fitness Campaign to install and activate the Wonderful Fitness Court. The operation was funded by a grant from The Wonderful Company.

The new Wonderful Fitness Court is an outdoor body-weight circuit training facility designed to transform public spaces into community fitness hubs.

The court also includes a free Fitness Court App that residents can download and use to track their training progress, learn new routines, or compete in fitness challenges." (visit link)
