Memorial plaque to Lieut. William Edward Torriano, at the west end of the south aisle, All Saints' church, East Budleigh. It consists of a rectangular brass plaque with black lettering and occasional red first letter. The border has a black trim with a thinner black line on the inside.

The inscription reads -

BORN AT MOUNT ROY, WELLS, SOMERSET
14th JULY 1793
DIED AT BUDLEIGH SALTERTON
5th FEBy 1862.
HER SERVED FROM 1810 TO 1814 IN THE PENINSULAR WAR UNDER
THE GREAT DUKE OF WELLINGTON, WAS THREE TIMES WOUNDED
AND WAS PRESENT AT THE ACTIONS OF ARROYO DES MOLINOS,
ALMARAZ, COVERING ARMY AT BADAJOS VITTORIA, NIVE,
BAYONNE, URT, St PALAIS, ORTHES, AIRE, TARBES, TOULOUSE,
AND MANY MINOR AFFAIRS, AND FINALLY FOUGHT AT THE BATTLE
OF WATERLOO, WAS PRESENT AT THE SURRENDER OF PARIS
AND WAS WITH THE ARMY OF OCCUPATION IN FRANCE.
