This 'You Are Here' map can be found on part of the Monifieth Path Network, albeit actually in Broughty Ferry, the eastern part of the City of Dundee across the border from the Angus town of Monifieth. The Balmossie Viaduct, also known as the Seven Arches, lies to the east and marks the border as it crosses the Dighty Water. The former railway line is now also part of the path network.
Also on the sign is information on the viaduct and nearby mill. The sighting of otters in the Dighty Water. Information on James Bowman Lindsey, who perfected the world's first electric light bulb, and Sir Patrick Geddes, the father of town planning and professor of botany at Dundee University. There is also information on salmon in the river, and the sighting of dippers who feed on larve in the waters.
