About the artist Corine Kroezen:
"Visual artist Corine Kroezen was born in Woudrichem and grew up along the beaches of the Merwede. From an early age she has been fascinated by the quest to create, to create something new.
In doing so, she is looking for unusual shapes that are already a challenge in the construction and in which the technical aspect plays a role. They are often abstract, but also organic forms. In addition to the fascinating process of glazing, the small she uses may also show its properties / appearance and does not always have to be a closed glazed whole.
She took lessons with Carien van Dongen, Antonia van Loon and masterclasses with the Swiss Jurg Bachtold and the Spanish Alberto Bustos. In 2015 she won the Jan van Asselberg incentive prize."
