The plaque say:

gal:"A PONTE DO FOXO

eng:"THE FOXO BRIDGE
This vaulted structure responds to the typology of a small bridge that collected the waters of the Barrier by the New street - today Pepe Puga-. The bridge was part of the infrastructure of a paved road that connected the town of Allariz with the neighboring town of Xunqueira de Ambía and saved the difference in level of the moat and the waters that converged in this section, allowing entry to the walled enclosure through an open door in the 15th century wall. This is why its historical ascription can be placed in the centuries of the Modern Age. The external face of the structure has a formless invoice since it would not be visible 6 to be covered by the pavement slabs. The interior is formed by carved ashlars, fastened with sábrego mortar, lime and colos; on the sides, against the walls, a powerful filling acts as a containment for the vault and for the settlement of the road slabs. The structure, over time, has been reused as a canalization in works by the Santiago engineer Ferro Caaveiro - 18th century - and more stratigraphic. later it was used as the infrastructure of the sewer of the twentieth century, suffering serious alterations especially in its historical record."
