Le sentier du patrimoine

Credits

The Heritage Trail

A heritage trail allows you to discover the surroundings of the village in 15 to 20 minutes.

Taking the direction of St André, the path crosses an old fountain now restored, A Funtanedda. It continues along the olive groves by a rehabilitated path from which you can appreciate various viewpoints on Poggio and on Saint Lucia.

On the way back down, we discover an old washhouse that takes us back to the ancestral oven. It is the place where one meets to share the bread of friendship, in particular during A Festa di l'Oliu Novu.

The benevolent look of the bird of prey sculpted by Stéphane Deguilhem in the trunk of the very old chestnut tree watches over the oven.

From the gîte d'étape you can access the old mill U Fragnu, now an ecomuseum of olive oil.

Back in the village, the route will take you through the old town and discover a fortified house, A Turri.
