"Bassie en Adriaan (Bas and Aad van Toor) was a Dutch artist duo that was best known for the television series of the same name that ran from 1978 to 1995 on the Dutch and Flemish public broadcasters, and was repeated many times afterwards. Bassie was a clown and Adriaan an acrobat. In 2003 they had their last joint (theatre) tour."
