The Little Free Pantry on Main was created and is maintained by Whitman County Fire District #12, which is Pullman Washington's rural protection department. Is it located in the parking lot of our main fire station.
This pantry is open 24/7. It is located just off a parking lot. The steward occasionally posts updates about the pantry on their facebook. Below the pantry is a sign that reads "Take what you need / Leave what you can / Be blessed." On the top of the door to the pantry it says "In memory of Denise Hatley." This pantry takes donations - if the food doesn't fit in the pantry they ask that you send them a message so they know to bring the extra food inside. The pantry is frequently stocked with a variety of shelf stable foods including canned vegetable and fruit, top ramen, soups, applesauce, cereal, and crackers as well as ready-to eat foods like pastries.
