Style/Design: Vernacular
In plan and elevation the structure is the same as 202, 204, and 208. The turned post supporting the porch on the SW has been replaced with a square wood post, and has a wrought iron balustrade. The windows are attenuated and are l-over-l, shuttered on the primary facade only. There is a hip roof ell, original to the structure, to the rear as well as an enclosed porch on the SE and an addition to the NE.
"Judge John E. Thro built this house and 202, 204, and 208 all alike for his daughters on the site of the J.E. Thro Lumber Company yard.
