EN: This transformer substation is located in the west of Muttenz, despite the official name not on Birsfelderstrasse, but on Kriegackerstrasse.
The undated building was probably built the 1920s. The tower has a pyramid roof with a metal knob and a square ground plan. Between the floors it is divided with a cornice. The station is still in operation.
DE: Dieser Trafoturm steht im Westen von Muttenz, trotz des offiziellen Namens nicht an der Birsfelderstrasse, sondern an der Kriegackerstrasse.
Das undatierte Gebäude stammt vermutlich aus den 1920er Jahren. Der Turm hat ein Pyramidendach mit einem Metallknauf und einen quadratischen Grundriss. Zwischen den Stockwerken ist er mit einem Gesims unterteilt. Die Station ist noch in Betrieb.
