These colorful propellers are designed to look like flowers. Red, orange, green, yellow and white are the primary colors used in the painting of the mural which has five flowers on a green background. It is approximately 4' wide and 30' long, located on the east side of the Stride Bank Center. This is the first of four crosswalk murals that will be painted in Enid.

Main Street Enid, in partnership with AARP, is currently working on traffic-calming crosswalk art in multiple locations throughout Downtown Enid.

Main Street Enid was recently selected as one of the AARP Community Grant Challenge recipients, focused on enhancing public safety and adding to our community’s quality of life. The purpose of this grant is to add traffic calming elements that increase visibility for people of all ages. Downtown Enid is a Certified Cultural District, and these additions will help support our community’s presence as a leader in the arts.
