"The meticulous joining of square-cut timbers into a stepped pyramid with off-center entrance chamber creates an arresting form with repetitions of sharp-edged profiles for rhythmic shadow patterns. Inside, on a bright day, light through slit openings casts viid linear patterns. This evocation of a little woodland temple was the first "site-specific" sculpture to be commissioned by the park and designed for a selected location" ~ plaque describing sculpture
The sculpture measures 16'7" x 21'9" x 19'. The sculpture has been rebuilt recently.
