Today we can find two valuable carvings inside. One of the carvings represents Saint Francis of Assisi and is from the first third of the seventeenth century, and the other is an image of Christ Crucified in the baroque altarpiece, from the first third of the seventeenth century.

Regarding its structure, it has a single nave with a ribbed vault and a semicircular apse, and two chapels on the sides.

San Pedro is the Patron Saint of Cudillero and his festivals are the most famous in the area. San Pedro, San Pablo and San Pablin are celebrated, from June 29 to July 1. The day of San Pedro takes place l’Amuravela that consists of a secular sermon, in verse and pixueto dialect that is addressed to San Pedro. In it, the relevant events of the year at the local, regional and even international level are reviewed with grace and irony. The sermon is "cast" from a ship that is placed in dry dock in the Plaza de La Ribera or La Marina.
