The Old Crow Wildlife Observation Area is a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Advance Wetland Compensation Project. The Old Crow Wetland is located along William Penn Highway (US Route 22) south of the road and about a quarter mile east of the intersection of Routes 22 and 26. Although less than 10 acres, this wetland, a little cattail oasis, attracts various birds, including green herons, willow flycatchers, red-winged blackbirds, bitterns and marsh wrens.
The preserve is listed on the Susquehanna River Birding and Wildlife Trail.
