Enjoy this fantastic view of Lake George, the centerpiece of Loud Thunder Forest Preserve. Created in 1967, Lake George is a destination for those who enjoy fishing and boating.
I've enjoyed many a beautiful moment from this spot. During the fall, the changing leaves on the surrounding hills are some of the best in the area. You can watch the ice fisherman during the winter, and the hawks and eagles soaring above the lake.
