Tamarack was named for the West Virginia Tamarack Tree. This unique building features a collection of hand-made crafts, arts and cuisine. Visitors will discover 59,000 square feet of juried crafts, working art studios, theaters, wildlife, festival meadows, trails, gardens, and West Virginia foods all under one roof. Children will enjoy the playground, which is full of West Virginia made toys and adults will be able to see first hand how artists create their beautiful work. From hand-smithed rings to hand-carved sculptures, the artisans of West Virginia offer their finest creations, including glass-blown decanters, wood-carved tables, pottery vases, hand-woven baskets, caned preserves, specialty herbs, spices, and much, much more.
