From 1912, the work of Manuel del Busto. The Casino, called Círculo Liceo, was part of the playful-social works, frequent in those years, carried out as recreational centers for male reunions and leisure, since women could only enter certain acts such as, for example, dances. The most interesting thing about the building is the composition and decoration of the facades, highlighting the original mansard openings, both on the main façade and the one facing the river.
A body with a terrace roof was later attached to this façade, the whole losing its original proportion, harmony and physiognomy. The ornamentation, based on plates with floral reliefs, connects with the type of decorative motifs of the modernist repertoire, but the peculiar shapes of the openings of the roof and their frames belong instead to the secessionist repertoire (Viennese influence).
