A nicely furbished green bicycle repair and tune up repair station at the Austin trailhead. Right by this is a 2,000 foot bridge across the Broad River that used to be a train bridge. Incredible sites include seeing bald eagles, turtles and other wildlife from the bridge. Use this repair station to pump up your tires, then enjoy a 10 mile ride to the end of this stretch of the Palmetto Trail (20 miles round trip). Plenty of auto parking and 5 brand new FREE campsites have been constructed here.

Several Geckos have also made this repair station their home. At least a half dozen living right at it.
