Oud Eik en Duinen is one of the oldest, largest and most beautiful cemeteries in the Netherlands.
About 100 monumental trees and many historical memorials are located there.
This cemetery contains various categories of graves spread over the entire site, such as war graves and graves of Indies Dutch.
Many famous and eminent persons have found their final resting place here. Circular walks along these graves have been plotted. (Information at the office.)
There is also a ruin of a church from the 13th century.
Oud Eik en Duinen is een van de oudste, grootste en fraaiste begraafplaatsen van Nederland.
Daar bevinden zich ongeveer 100 monumentale bomen en vele historische gedenktekens.
Op dit begraafplaats liggen diverse categorieën graven verspreid over het gehele terrein, zoals Oorlogsgraven en graven van Indische Nederlanders.
Veel bekende en hoogstaande personen hebben hun laatste rustplaats hier gevonden. Er zijn rondwandelingen langs deze graven uitgezet.(Info bij het kantoor.)
Er is ook een ruïne van een kerk uit het 13e eeuw.
