This pillbox is built into the side of the Caernarfon Yacht Club building.
The pillbox is built out of concrete with a cladding of local stone so as to match the main building. There are three embrasures for riflemen to shoot out of, one in the front and two on the side looking towards Anglesey, they are all now blocked up. On top of the pillbox an additional red brick and concrete loophole wall was built with four embrasures.
The pillbox would have been part of the fortifications protecting the Menai Strait between the mainland and Anglesey.
