Alma Ware is laid to rest at the southeast side of Pawhuska City Cemetery. She married her first husband Ruben when she was about 17, her second husband LeRoy before she was 32, and James when she was about 44. She was survived by one son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Alma Pearl Kemp Ware, age 103, of Pawhusky, Oklahoma, passes away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Bartlesville.

She was born June 21, 1908 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the late Mary Kemp.

She worked for Cities Service, and was of the First Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ware.

She is survived by a son, Robert F. (and wife, Margaret) Mergen of Mansfield, Arkansas; a grandson, Mark Mergen of Greenwood, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Amie (and husband, Gregory) Beshears; and grandchildren, Camden, Chase, and Sarah Beshears of Mansfield, Arkansas; a step-daughter, Sue Lemon of Clearwater, Kansas; a grandson, Davie Lemon of Texas; granddaughters, Tammy (and husband, Tim) Kirstatter of Kansas, Jamie (and husband, Roger) Johnson of Kansas; great grandchildren, Caleb Kirstatter of Kansas, Kaylee (and husband, Santtana) Seal, Garvin Johnson of Kansas, Shanda Langston, Kelcey Johnson of Kansas; and her great great granddaghter, Jada Beele Seal.

Graveside services are at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 in the Pawhusky City Cemetery, with Rev. Ken Woodhams officiating. Interment will follow.

McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Note - She married Ruben Mergen about 1925, LeRoy Edwards before 1940, and James M. Ware on May 10, 1952.
