Fur tor is a spectacular Granite tor located on Northern Dartmoor. Fur tor was originally called Vur Tor and is also known, especially to local walkers as the Queen of the moor. On a clear day there are fantastic views to the West and North. On the very top of the tor there are Rock Basins - formed by erosion.
Be aware that Fur tor sits within the Okehampton live firing range.
Also find the cave on the West side at ground level and locate the Fur Tor official Dartmoor Letterbox
