[FIN] Turun punavankileirin muistomerkki ”535” on taiteilija Ismo Kajanderin suunnittelema ja Turun Aikuiskoulutuskeskuksen metallipuolen opettajan Reijo Möttösen toteuttama teos Kurjenkaivonkentän rinteessä Turussa. Taideteos paljastettiin vuonna 1994 paikalla, jossa oli sisällissodan jälkeen ollut Turun vankileiri. Leirillä oli enimmillään 3300 punaista vankia, joista 175 menehtyi.
Muistomerkissä voi nähdä ristin, rastin tai kompassin omasta tulkinnasta riippuen. Tasapitkät sakarat yhdistyvät keskeltä nousevaan kalliokumpareeseen. Muistomerkin teksti on pitkäaikaisen turkulaisen poliitikon ja kansanedustajan Pertti Paasion kynästä: ”Te kärsitte toivonne tähden”.
[EN] The Turku Red Prison Camp Memorial “535” is a work designed by artist Ismo Kajander and executed by Reijo Möttönen, a metal teacher at the Turku Adult Education Center, on the slopes of Kurjenkaivonkenttä in Turku. The work of art was unveiled in 1994 at the site of the Turku prison camp after the Civil War. The camp had a maximum of 3,300 red prisoners, 175 of whom died.
