CALLE GALIANA
Calle construida durante la expansión barroca (s. XVII) como principal camino hacia Grado, población considerada entonces "la huerta de Asturias". Es la calle soportalada más larga de Avilés (252 m.) y la única que conserva el doble tipo de suelo: la zona empedrada para el ganado y la gente que llevaba "madreñas" y la zona lista para el resto de transeúntes."
GALIANA STREET
This street was also built in the "Baroque Expansion" (17th c.). This is the longest arched street of the city and it is the only one that still preserves two kinds of pavement: a cobbled side made for the cattle, and a flat one, used by the people.
