Aquazoo Leerdam is an arrangement of aquariums and terrariums in the basement of the Lingesteyn nursing home in Leerdam. It is maintained and managed by members of Aquarium Association De Discus from that city.

"In 1991, during the Easter holidays, the exhibition "Go to the sharks" was held for the first time. The members of Aquarium Association De Discus presented their animals to the public. Since then, this exhibition has been held every Sunday afternoon. In 2003 Aquazoo Leerdam received a zoo permit. In October 2007 it was announced that the housing of the aquarium association did not fit in with the plans for renovation of the nursing home. However, in December 2007 an agreement was made and Aquazoo Leerdam could stay in the nursing home"
