"More than six hundred objects are set up on a floor area of twelve hundred square meters; the total collection consists of more than 3000 pieces. The comic book heroes are central to the museum. The collection is composed of figures from the Belgian comics world, but also beyond. Examples are Tintin, The Smurfs, Guust Flater, Asterix and Obelix, trolls and Blake and Mortimer.

The museum was founded in 2009 and was initially located on the Auguste Reyerslaan in Schaerbeek. In September 2011, it moved to the Grasmarktstraat near the Grand Place in Brussels, more specifically in the Horta Gallery. "
