Starting on the right there are three mounted cowboys bringing up the end of the trail drive. One cowboy has his lariet out and it appears he is trying to rope a steer that is mostly white. While most of the cattle appear to be herefords, this one looks like a longhorn.

The middle section has one cowboy on horseback surrounded by herefords. He is waving his hat.

The last section has a chuckwagon with "Matador Ranch" on the canvas. There is a cowboy on a white horse, next to a horse with no rider. A man in white is standing in front of the chuchwagon. A campfire is behind the chuckwagon with a pot suspended over it. Nearby two cowboys are seated on a large log.
