[FIN] Laitilan-Pyhärannan terveyskeskus vihittiin käyttöön vuonna 1974. Juhlassa paljastettiin rakennuksen edessä oleva Aila Salon suihkukaivoveistos Elämän lähde. Veistos symbolisoi elämän alkua ja Laitilan kanataloutta. Sijainti: Laitilan terveyskeskus, Sairaalantie 8.
Suihkulähde ei ole ilmeisesti enää ollut toimiva ja sen vesiputki näyttää olevan irroitettu paikoiltaan. Taideteoksen keskellä on lamput, jotka valaisevat niiden yllä olevaa suurta kananmunan muotoista osaa. Allas johon vesi on joskus valunut näyttää olevan pois käytöstä. Toivottavasti tämä korjataan joskus sen käyttötarkoitukseen.
[EN] Laitilan-Pyhäranta Health Center was inaugurated in 1974. The fountain sculpture Aila Salo's Fountain of Life (Elämän Lähde) in front of the building was unveiled. The sculpture symbolizes the beginning of life and Laitila's chicken economy. Location: Laitila Health Center, Sairaalantie 8.
The fountain has apparently no longer been operational and its water pipe appears to have been disconnected. In the center of the work of art are lamps that illuminate the large egg-shaped part above them. The pool into which the water has sometimes drained seems to be out of use. Hopefully this will be fixed someday for its intended use.
