A white bicycle was hung on the corner of Turnhoutsebaan and Hooftvunderlei in Deurne on Monday afternoon. A lorry grabbed the cycling six-year-old Ziggy Stroobants there a year ago. The boy died on the spot.
The white bicycle is an international symbol for cyclists who have been killed or seriously injured in a traffic accident. It is also intended to alert motorists to the presence of cyclists on the road."
