During December we will be introducing a new model of bike to the fleet.
450 ‘SMARTbike 2.0’ bikes will be rolled out across our docking stations, replacing the current model of bike.
This new bike, will bring you a more user-friendly, flexible experience and will help us to keep our bikes safe.
There is a smart technology framelock integrated into the bike, which is powered by a solar panel. This framelock includes an integrated GPS, so any missing bikes can be easily located. The design of the bike will help to prevent vandalism and increase security with the addition of a smart lock at the back of the bike.
For you our customers, this smart technology framelock will mean you can park the bikes and lock and unlock using your smart phone instead of the current chain bike lock.
