This is the Westloonse Wissel. The animal bridge is one of the measures for nature compensation and will restore the connection between the Loonse and Drunense dunes on the east side with Landgoed Huis ter Heide on the west side of the N261 motorway

About the bridge
"The ecoduct has a width of 50 meters and spans the N261 which has 2x2 lanes with a bus lane. Furthermore, a parallel road with a separate bicycle path is also crossed, which means that, if the green areas between the carriageways and the parallel road are also included, the total span of the ecoduct has a length of around 25 meters. The span is supported by pillars on the green belt between the service road and the N261 and in the central reservation of the N261. The construction consists of prefab elements. The ecoduct is equipped with a bat cellar and a special wetland area has been created for amphibians and reptiles."
