The quilt is located at 215 South Michigan Avenue on Maple Street and is #3 on the Vicksburg Barn Quilt Trail.
“In 1902 Mrs. Fanny Bair, a member of the Ladies Library Auxiliary, built a brick Romanesque library that is now a Historic Site. It featured such ‘modern’ conveniences as electric lights and running water. In 1976 the new addition to the Vicksburg District Library was built. FANNY’S FAN was painted from 1902 color chips and placed near the original entrance.”
