An old (11th or 12th century) baptismal font in Pohick Church that has is assumed to have traveled from England to the Colonies. It is assumed to have come from a monastery refectory, however it has not been confirmed. On the west side of the font is "A.D. 1773" and on the east is "Restored 1890." The restoration was in part due to the Colonial Dames of America.
