Sankt Nikolaj Church is from the mid 13th century, altered to its current design in 1883. Perhaps the door knocker, which is made of cast iron, also dates from 1883. In fact, there are two similar door hammers, but not a type that one can buy.
The church is dedicated to Saint Nikolaus, patron saint of seefares. The tower was built in 1617 and is the only remains of the first church. The architect is Helgo Zettervall.
