Lychgate at the entrance to St Nicholas' churchyard, Combe Raleigh. Built in 1909 by James Arberry, a carpenter who used to supply coffins at the princely sum of £1.08 each in 1916. He lived at Newtons where he ran a “village store”.
The lychgate is grade II listed (visit link)

"Lychgate to the churchyard of the church of St. Nicholas. Probably late 19th/early 20th century. Local flint rubble and timber, slate roof, gabled at ends, pair of timber gates. Stone rubble coped walls support four vertical timber posts with curved struts and the slate roof, which is crowned by an ornamental iron finial. A pair of timber gates with diagonal boarding and curved struts."
