Phil Silva ran a country and western bar on this spot for many years. Then he closed it and built a gas station, which he wanted to set apart from any other. So he named it Gasquatch, set this thirty-foot-tall Sasquatch out front, and filled the station with Sasquatch-themed merchandise including dolls, t-shirts, sweats, mugs, caps, stickers, frisbees, and furry Bigfoot slippers. The cafe sells Bigfoot Hot Dogs and fried "Squatch Fingers." The station is also home to Phil's Elite Muscle Car Museum, with about a dozen classic cars on display.
