Het Zeeuws maritiem muZEEum is een maritiem museum in het centrum van Vlissingen, in de Nederlandse provincie Zeeland. Het museum is gelegen aan de jachthaven van de stad. Het is de opvolger van het Stedelijk Museum Vlissingen.

Het muZEEum is gevestigd in een gebouwencomplex met panden uit de 16e, 17e, 18de en 21ste eeuw. Deze panden zijn door moderne architectuur met elkaar verbonden. Een van de belangrijkste delen van het complex is het Lampsinshuis. Het Zeeuwse koopmans- en redersgeslacht Lampsins; Cornelis Lampsins liet dit huis in 1641 op de Engelse Kade (nu: Nieuwendijk) bouwen in de destijds nieuwe stijl van het Hollands classicisme. Hij betrok het als woonhuis, maar vestigde er ook het kantoor van het befaamde handelshuis Lampsins, waar onder meer Michiel de Ruyter in dienst was op 12-jarige leeftijd in de functie van touwslager. Achter het Lampsinshuis bevinden zich ook de originele pakhuizen van dit stadspaleis, ook deze maken deel uit van het complex. In 2002 werd begonnen met de nieuwbouw van het complex, naar een ontwerp van Rijksgebouwendienstarchitect Marc van Roosmalen.

In het 'Lampsinshuis' wordt de vaste collectie getoond in de 'Zeeuwse maritieme Geschiedenis'. Daarbij is een indeling gemaakt, die de gelaagd-structuralistische beschouwingswijze van Fernand Braudel. volgt. Op iedere verdieping is deze indeling thematisch terug te vinden.

In de Pakhuizen worden tijdelijke tentoonstellingen met een bovenregionaal karakter gehouden. Daarnaast beschikt het muZEEum over 1 kleinere expositiezaal de 'Scheldezaal' waar tijdelijke exposities worden tentoongesteld met een lokale Maritieme karakter. De museumbrasserie 'Gecroonde Liefde' is genoemd naar een van de schepen van Michiel de Ruyter.

The Zeeuws maritime muZEEum is a maritime museum in the center of Vlissingen, in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The museum is located at the marina of the city. It is the successor of the Stedelijk Museum Vlissingen.

The muZEEum is located in a complex of buildings with buildings from the 16th, 17th, 18th and 21st centuries. These buildings are connected by modern architecture. One of the most important parts of the complex is the Lampsinshuis. The Zeeland merchants and shipowners' family Lampsins; Cornelis Lampsins had this house built in 1641 on the English Quay (now: Nieuwendijk) in the then new style of Dutch classicism. The museum brasserie 'Gecroonde Liefde' is named after one of Michiel de Ruyter's ships.
