L’église de Lens-Saint-Remy a été entièrement reconstruite à deux reprises. De la première campagne de construction en 1760 subsistent l’avant-corps et le clocher actuels. De la seconde campagne en 1894-1895 demeurent la nef et le chœur, légèrement désaxés par rapport au reste de l’ensemble. À l’intérieur est conservé du mobilier du 18e siècle et quelques dalles funéraires parfois plus anciennes, allant du 16e au 19e siècle. Parmi les éléments provenant des édifices antérieurs se trouvent les très belles orgues classées, construites vers 1740 et venues remplacer à la fin du 19e siècle un orgue bien plus petit. L’instrument d’origine avait été conçu pour le couvent des augustines de Sainte-Croix, situé dans le village, avant d’être cédé à la paroisse en 1784. Il est par la suite restauré et réparé à quatre reprises tout au long du 19e siècle jusqu’à son remplacement en 1883. À cette époque, la paroisse rachète l’orgue de l’hospice des vieillards de Verviers, plus grand, et l’installe à la place de l’ancien instrument des augustines. Celui-ci aussi fut réparé à de nombreuses reprises depuis lors. Les orgues ont conservé leur buffet d’origine, en chêne verni, et sont dotées d’une façade de tuyaux installée en 1891.

De kerk van Lens-Saint-Remy is twee keer volledig herbouwd. Van de eerste bouwcampagne in 1760 resteren het huidige voorgebouw en de klokkentoren. Het schip en het koor, die enigszins uit het midden staan ten opzichte van de rest van het gebouw, zijn overgebleven van de tweede campagne in 1894-1895. Binnen vindt men meubilair uit de 18e eeuw en enkele grafstenen, waarvan sommige ouder zijn, uit de 16e tot de 19e eeuw. Tot de elementen uit de vroegere gebouwen behoren de prachtige geklasseerde orgels, gebouwd rond 1740, die een veel kleiner orgel aan het eind van de 19e eeuw vervingen. Het oorspronkelijke instrument was gebouwd voor het Augustijner klooster van het Heilige Kruis in het dorp en werd in 1784 overgedragen aan de parochie. Het werd vervolgens in de loop van de 19e eeuw vier maal gerestaureerd en gerepareerd, totdat het in 1883 werd vervangen. In die tijd kocht de parochie het orgel van het bejaardentehuis van Verviers, dat groter was, en installeerde het in de plaats van het oude Augustijner instrument. At that time, the parish bought the organ of the old people's home in Verviers, which was larger, and installed it in place of the old Augustinian instrument. This too has been repaired many times since then. The organs have retained their original varnished oak case and have a pipe front installed in 1891.
