Le cairn se trouve sur la commune de Carnac, au sud de l'alignement de Kermario, près du château de Kercado. On y accède par la route de Kerlescan (D 196), puis par le chemin de Kerhoc'h. Le cairn est sur une propriété privée. L'accès au site est payant. Le dolmen peut être visité.

Le cairn est circulaire. Il a un diamètre de 25 m pour une hauteur de 5 m. Il est cerné d'un muret de parement qui forme entonnoir au niveau de l'entrée. Le cairn contient un monument mégalithique en excellent état de conservation : un dolmen à couloir avec chambre simple, quadrangulaire, bien différenciée. Dans le couloir comme dans la chambre, les tables (dalles de couverture) reposent en grande partie sur des murets de pierre sèche (c'est-à-dire sans mortier), qui sont élevés entre elles et les supports mégalithiques."
