Osmidílný cyklus kriminálních thrilleru, vyprávených "zevnitr", bez prispení detektiva, a casto i s minimální asistencí policie. Jednotlivé príbehy jsou nazírány optikou nekteré z hlavních postav. Tento prístup dává autorovi scénáre Ivanu Hejnovi mimorádnou svobodu pri výberu témat príbehu i volbe prostredí, ve kterých se odehrávají, což jednoznacne prispívá k vysoké atraktivite jednotlivých epizod. Díky tomu, že každou epizodu dostal ke zpracování jiný režisér, vzniklo osm originálních pohledu.
