P 141 (NM1227) - Norfolk, NE - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located on the old train depot on the south side of Norfolk, NE. The exterior of the building is still in very nice shape. At this time, I am unsure when it ceased operation as a train depot. I will add that information later if I find it. It was a bar and night club for 17 years from 1999-2017. A Norfolk Daily News article in 2018 suggests it has also been a restaurant in the past and they had considered rezoning the area to transform the building into apartments. With all that in mind, this building holds a lot of history.

The benchmark is in great condition located on the south side (backside and railroad track side) of the building, not quite center as it is closer to the west than the east.
