A narrow three foot gauge railway including associated structures and the Quorn station buildings. The scenic 40Km railway track and structures including bridges, cuttings and embankments on the original Ghan route. Historic rolling stock include several operating steam and diesel locomotives, railcars and restored timber carriages some more than 130 years old. Buildings include the goods shed water tank and engine shed along with the station.
