Located in the Canal Basin Park about fifty feet west of the Reiser House is a small, patina stained monument in tribute to the bicentennial of the birth of George Washington.

The monument is a granite stone with a bronze plaque mounted to the top. The plaque reads:

Adam Holliday Chapter D.A.R. Located near a maple tree that doesn't look to be over fifty years old. I don't believe this is the original tree mentioned on the memorial, but rather a replacement.
