The General Store and Post Office as it appears today with its gable-front façade and Victorian-style ornamentation, is the creation of Harrison H. Weaver who lived in one three-bay section of this structure (3444 Uniontown Road) and operated a store in the other three-bay section from 1859 to 1900.
The structure may be as early as 1814-16 when David Stouffer constructed improvements.
