I 1986 forlod DSB remisen i Gedser.

In 1986, DSB (Danish State Railways) left the roundhouse in Gedser. A group of volunteers founded an association: The Conservation Association Gedser Remise to preserve the buildings and equipment. Today it is a museum where you can see old train carriages, locomotives etc. It is also on the museum's grounds that you can visit the legendary Det Gule Palæ (The Yellow Palace), which in 2017 was moved to the museum's area. Det Gule Palæ is known from the film Olsen Banden på Sporet from 1975.
