The You are here map is a modern plastic board on a metal sign and it shows the entire hospital area in Landskrona.

The planned area began to be built on in 1897, after long discussions about introducing one
county hospital in Landskrona. Before the hospital was built, the land was undeveloped. Year 1900
the hospital received its first patients and the city was generally proud of its new one
hospital. At this time, however, the planned area was considered to be located on
"Wilderness", on the outskirts of the city.
Due to a steadily growing population, the hospital area has expanded in pace
with the growth of the city. Since the railway was built in the 19th century, Landskrona came to
continue to grow to the northeast in the first place, which has meant that the planning area today
is very centrally located in Landskrona's building structure.
During the first extension in 1926, the hospital operations within were restructured
the planned area, and the former main entrance towards St Olovsgatan was moved to the new one-block B. The hospital then continued to expand, with more places and
