EN: The hiking trail from Schalb to Törbel is called "Yak Trail". It leads past a few pastures where Tibetan yaks graze. At a scree slope in a piece of forest you will find this peace memorial to take part in.
If you throw a stone into one of these metal baskets, you bring world peace a little bit closer, they say. Since they started, half a dozen of these stone towers have emerged, partly decorated with prayer flags from the Himalayas.
DE: Der Wanderweg von Schalb nach Törbel wirde "Yakpfad" genannt. Er führt an ein paar Weiden vorbei, auf denen tibetische Yaks weiden. Bei einer Geröllhalde in einem Waldstück findet man dieses Friedensdenkmal zum Mitmachen.
Wer einen Stein in diese Metallkörbe wirft, bringt dabei den Weltfrieden ein kleines Stück näher. Inzwischen befinden sich hier ein halbes Dutzend dieser Steintürme, z.T. mit Gebetsfahnen aus dem Himalaya geschmückt.
