This Coat of Arms of the See of Sodor and Man are found on a memorial to The Rev. Thomas Redfern Kneale and Miss Winifred Frances Mary Kneale in St. Mary de Ballaugh (New Church). The Arms are at the base of the memorial which is displayed as a diamond.

The Arms of the See of Sodor and Man are blazoned: Argent (Silver), upon a pedestal the Virgin Mary with her arms extended between two pillars,in the dexter hand (Righthand), a church proper, in base the arms of Man in an escutcheon (a shield).

WHO DIED AT “YN DRUIN” LEZAYRE ON JULY 29TH 1935 IN HIS 78TH YEAR.

SUCCESSIVELY HEAD MASTER OF THE RAMSEY GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
CHAPLAIN OF ST. JUDE’S AND VICAR OF KIRK CHRIST RUSHEN.
FOR MANY YEARS DIOCESAN INSPECTOR & SECRETARY TO THE DIOCESAN CONFERENCE
He devoted his life fearlessly to the interests
of the Church of this Island & its Clergy.
