[EN] Drawing made on September 30, 2021. Made at the coordinates of the Waymark, south orientation. Layout penciled on site and finalized at my home. A4 format, HB pencil.

The present Sainte-Geneviève church dates from the 1870s. The stained glass windows, made by the Lobin workshops of Tours around 1878, include local saints (Blessed Jeanne-Marie de Maillé), and the portraits of the donors (Duke and Duchess of Luynes, the curate Brette, Madame Pimparé). A first church dedicated to Sainte Genevieve existed as early as the middle of the 10th century, occupying the northern part of the present church. But its state of obsolescence was such that it was decided to shave it and build another larger one. Apart from two statues, nothing was preserved from the first church.

The steeple-porch dates from 1874. The original bells dated from 1866: their metal was very corroded. In June 2011, they were taken down from the steeple to be broken and melted down. this molten metal was then re-molded to create the four new church bells.
