This Coat of Arms of the See of Sodor and Man are found on a memorial to Edward William Kissack B.A., in St. Mary de Ballaugh (New Church) on Station Road in the village of Ballaugh. The Arms are at the top of the brass memorial tablet above the epitaph.
The Arms of the See of Sodor and Man are blazoned: Argent (Silver), upon a pedestal the Virgin Mary with her arms extended between two pillars,in the dexter hand (Righthand), a church proper, in base the arms of Man in an escutcheon (a shield).
The full text of the memorial plaque reads as follows:
"To the Glory of God
This Tablet was erected by
Parishioners and friends
in memory of
Edward William Kissack B.A.
Canon of St. Maughold
in the Diocese of Sodor & Man.
Rector of Ballaugh 1890-1897.
Died at Chillenden Rectory, Kent.
April 29th 1901,
